Job summary

Oracle Corporation in Augusta, Maine seeks a Data Center Technician to identify opportunities to upgrade server components, validate cabling, and ensure network environment readiness. The role involves on-site 24/7 coverage and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will monitor ticketing workflows, mentor junior technicians, and contribute to resiliency and availability initiatives while adhering to SOPs and MOPs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of server/storage/network hardware systems and components.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb a 9 ft ladder.
• Willing to travel as required.
• Shift schedule that rotates; nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to replace or upgrade server components.
• Validate cabling and network environment build and connectivity is established.
• Monitor and assign work in ticketing environment; mentor less experienced technicians.
• Implement technical solutions and train advanced repair techniques.
• Act as a technical liaison to identify and resolve resiliency, reliability, and availability risks.
