Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a senior subject matter expert within our Data Center team to lead structural engineering efforts across a portfolio of data center projects, including new builds and retrofits. You’ll shape technical direction and ensure designs meet performance and constructability standards.

The role is heavily client- and contractor-facing, blending technical authority with collaboration across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 15+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in additional states.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of data center structural projects and coordinate with engineering teams.
• Provide quality reviews of complex projects and guide design decisions.
• Mentor junior and senior staff and communicate with clients and management.
