Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking Data Center Server Build Technicians for a Fortune 500 IT company at multiple data center locations. Full-time role, 40 hours weekly, pay range $25-27/hr.

Responsibilities include deploying, configuring, and maintaining enterprise servers, OS installation, hardware upgrades, and ticket-driven support. Applicants should have 3–5+ years in data center operations, strong server hardware troubleshooting, and solid networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in data center operations or server deployment.
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise server hardware and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server provisioning.
• Solid networking knowledge including DNS and TCP/IP.
• Experience leading technical projects and supporting critical production environments.

Responsibilities

• Rack, cable, configure, and deploy enterprise servers.
• Install Windows Server and Linux OS.
• Perform hardware upgrades and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures (memory, storage, power, networking).
• Provision, deploy, and decommission servers.
• Manage support tickets and meet SLAs.
• Collaborate with Network Operations, Engineering, and Support teams.
• Perform QA testing and validation of new equipment.
• Document server configurations and maintenance activities.
