Job summary

MacStadium is hiring a Data Center Technician to build, install, configure, and troubleshoot our Mac-based infrastructure.

You will work with engineering on servers, network gear, and inventory while performing audits and documenting operations. The role requires 1–3 years of technical experience and IT certifications are a plus. Shift after training is 2pm–10pm ET, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of technical experience in IT or data center environments.
• IT certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA, Server+ are a plus.
• Understanding of data center operations – routers, switches, infrastructure, network.
• Ability to perform physical tasks around the data center.

Responsibilities

• Assist with physical build and install infrastructure at the data center.
• Complete general network and system configurations.
• Troubleshoot and repair servers and network issues.
• Provide remote hands support to diagnose hardware malfunctions.
• Manage daily performance of data center operations.
