Job summary

CyrusOne in the Chicago area seeks a seasoned project leader to drive mission-critical data center development from kickoff through commissioning and closeout. You will guide multi-discipline teams, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with procurement, engineering, and vendors to meet aggressive milestones.

Responsibilities include planning, RFPs for GCs, CxA coordination, and ongoing reporting to directors, while ensuring safety, quality, and sustainability programs align with project

Qualifications

• 7+ years in mission-critical data center development or heavy MEP construction.
• Experience leading construction teams with accountability for scope, schedule and budget.
• Strong ability to manage finances: budgeting, forecasting, contingencies and change orders.
• Experience negotiating construction, procurement, and labor contracts.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan, permit, and execute major data center projects from inception through closeout.
• Collaborate with Procurement to issue RFPs for General Contractors.
• Prepare capital expenditure presentations for Director review.
• Lead meetings (OAC, LV, OFCI) and coordinate across internal teams and external partners.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, risk, and weekly status updates for leadership review.
