Job summary

Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. is currently seeking a motivated Sr. Project Engineer for Data Centers to join our talented team in Missouri.

The role involves maintaining the overall design responsibility for assigned projects and serving as the primary contact for the project manager, workshops, vendors, and the client. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent project management skills, and a passion for technology and innovation in the data center

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years designing and project engineering experience.
• Experience with design/drafting in a manufacturing setting.
• Design experience for mechanical, electrical and plumbing in data center chiller plants.
• Professional Engineer registration preferred.
• Heat load calculation and lighting simulation preferred.
• Reviewing designs in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor and Revit.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; VBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design responsibility for mechanical, structural, electrical, HVAC, Building Management, ELV, Life Safety and Security systems.
• Prepare and issue engineering RFQs/Requisitions.
• Submit drawings and documentation per contract specs.
• Review and authorize vendor drawings.
• Review non-conformance reports from manufacturing facilities.
• Develop installation and operation manuals for client-specific requirements.
