You will maintain design responsibility and serve as the primary contact for the project manager, workshops, vendors, and the client, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and project milestones. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, excellent project management skills, and a passion for technology in the data center industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years designing and project engineering experience.
• Experience with design and drafting in a manufacturing setting for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in data centers.
• Preference for Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Experience with heat load calculation and lighting simulation.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor and Revit drawing models.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; VBA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, life safety and security systems for data center projects.
• Prepare and issue RFQs/requisitions in a timely manner.
• Submit drawings and documentation per contract specs.
• Review vendor drawings and approve documentation.
• Review and disposition non-conformance reports from manufacturing facilities.
• Develop installation and operations manuals tailored to job requirements and submit to client.
