Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a Project Controls (Cost) Manager to lead cost forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for large-scale data center developments. You will drive cost control and provide financial insight to senior leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, strong Oracle skills, and familiarity with Procore, plus a degree in Finance, Engineering, or Construction Management and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of professional experience, with 3+ years managing multiple large-scale data center projects valued at $150M or greater.
• Strong financial analysis skills and proficiency in Oracle; experience with Procore is a significant advantage.
• Deep understanding of data center construction processes, procedures, and industry best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or Construction Management and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cost Management: Manage cost forecasting and budget development while monitoring actual costs against approved budgets to analyze variances.
• Drive Financial Control: Oversee change order processes, evaluate cost impacts, and maintain accurate estimate-to-complete data throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate and Mitigate Risk: Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Procurement teams to identify, quantify, and monitor project risks related to cost and schedule performance.
