Job summary

Iron Mountain Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager - Data Center Design to lead North American data center projects, directing third‑party architectural and engineering teams while overseeing budgets and schedules for high‑value facilities.

You will collaborate with internal finance, sales and operations, as well as external consultants and equipment manufacturers, to validate build programs and deliver critical infrastructure on time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in design and construction project delivery.
• At least 5 years leading project management teams.
• Deep knowledge of electrical, mechanical, life-safety and control systems for data centers.
• US citizenship and ability to travel 25% (including overnight/international).
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead third‑party architectural and engineering teams for North American data center projects, overseeing budgets, schedules and quality.
• Interface with internal finance, sales, operations and external consultants and equipment manufacturers to validate build programs.
• Evaluate potential data center acquisitions and provide technical insights to sales engineering for new opportunities.
• Oversee procurement of long‑lead and owner‑furnished equipment to maintain timelines and standards.
• Ensure designs meet Iron Mountain standards and regulatory requirements.
