Job summary

Aegis Project Controls is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer to deliver CPM scheduling and project control services for our data center practice. You will join a multidisciplinary team to develop, manage, and monitor schedules through the project life cycle.

Responsibilities include baseline schedules, progress updates, critical path analysis, and risk assessment for complex data center projects. This full-time on-site role offers growth opportunities within a globally active company.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling within vertical construction.
• Two or more years of experience in project controls for data centers.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or a related field (waived with five+ years of vertical construction experience).
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
• Ability to interpret construction documents.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequences.
• Experience developing construction schedules for data centers.
• Cost and resource management and reporting.
• Familiarity with contractual planning and scheduling clauses.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• On-site full-time requirement.
• AACEI PSP or PMI-SP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Development, maintenance, and monitoring of construction CPM Schedules.
• Review project documents and specifications to develop baseline schedules with all dates, activities, and milestones.
• Perform progress schedule updates with reporting and narratives.
• Review project schedules and provide recommendations based on execution goals.
• Perform critical path analyses and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct site walks for progress validation and monthly reporting packages.
• Review contractor progress and present to management for decisions.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to support the program.
• Cost and resource management and reporting.
• Identify and evaluate risk and impacts within project schedules.
• Communicate project status and challenges effectively.
• Meet with project teams, clients, owners, and stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or related field
