Job summary

Aegis Project Controls seeks a Senior Project Controls Engineer to provide CPM scheduling and project control services for a data center practice. You will work with client PMs, construction pros, and stakeholders to develop, manage, and monitor schedules throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include baseline schedule development, progress updates, critical path analyses, site walks, monthly reports, and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling.
• 2+ years of project controls for data centers.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or related field.
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor CPM schedules for construction projects.
• Review documents to create baselines with dates, activities, and milestones.
• Produce progress schedule updates with reporting and narratives.
• Analyze schedules, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct site walks and prepare monthly reporting packages.
• Review contractor progress and present to management.
• Develop KPIs and benchmarks to support the program.
• Manage cost and resources and report findings.
• Identify risks and assess impacts on schedules.
• Communicate status and challenges to project teams and stakeholders.
