Job summary

The Aegis Companies is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer to provide scheduling support for data center projects. You will work with client PMs, construction professionals, and stakeholders to develop, manage, and monitor CPM schedules throughout the project life cycle.

Responsibilities include baseline schedules, progress reporting, critical path analysis, site validation, and KPI development. On-site role with substantial growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling in vertical construction.
• Two+ years of project controls experience for data centers.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, PM, or related field (waived with 5+ years vertical construction).
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
• Ability to interpret construction documents.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequences.
• Experience developing construction schedules for data centers.
• Cost and resource management and reporting.
• Familiarity with contractual clauses in planning and scheduling.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with multiple projects.
• AACEI PSP or PMI-SP certification preferred.
• This role requires being full-time on-site.

Responsibilities

• Development, maintenance, and monitoring of CPM schedules.
• Review documents to develop baseline schedules with dates, activities, milestones.
• Perform progress schedule updates with reporting and narratives.
• Review schedules and provide recommendations based on execution goals.
• Perform critical path analyses and propose corrective actions.
• Conduct site walks for progress validation and prepare monthly reports.
• Review contractor progress and present to management.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks.
• Cost and resource management and reporting.
• Identify risks and impacts within project schedules.
• Communicate project status and challenges effectively.
• Meet with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
