Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst to be based on-site at our Ashburn, VA office. The role focuses on OFCI equipment procurement for data center projects, with collaboration across Engineering, Operations, Legal and Finance to ensure specifications and schedules are met.

You will manage vendor submittals, track budgets, review invoices, and help develop supplier relationships while driving compliance and efficiency in procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering, construction science, supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a supply chain or construction role is required.
• Data Center, commercial, or industrial equipment experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity of specifications and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors for scheduling start-up and commissioning support services from the vendors.
• Analyze and negotiate vendor quotes, change orders and back charges.
• Manage and track equipment status with the vendors such that all scheduled dates set by the construction schedules are met.
• Learn and manage the financial software to enter POs, review invoices, track budgets, allocate equipment from purchase to the projects.
• Drive project-level tasks and milestones assigned by the project management team.
