Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking an experienced data center solutions presales engineer to support overseas engagements and key accounts. You will lead technical discussions, develop end‑to‑end data center infrastructure concepts including UPS, rectifiers, ESS, and cooling, and deliver compliant designs across global teams.

You will prepare technical responses for RFIs/RFPs, read and produce SLDs and layouts, and collaborate with R&D and regional teams to ensure feasibility and alignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years in technical presales, solution engineering, or infrastructure design related to data center facilities.
• Hands‑on understanding of data center power systems (UPS, rectifiers, power distribution, redundancy).
• Familiarity with data center cooling concepts and infrastructure integration.
• Experience supporting RFI / RFP processes, including technical documentation and solution proposals.
• Ability to read and develop SLDs, layout drawings, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead early‑stage technical discussions for data center infrastructure with internal teams and customers.
• Act as the technical presales lead for data center infrastructure opportunities, supporting key accounts.
• Engage with customers to capture requirements: availability, scalability, efficiency, reliability, and regulatory constraints.
• Develop end‑to‑end data center infrastructure solutions (power architecture, cooling, facility integration).
• Prepare technical responses for RFI/RFP/RFQ including architecture concepts, SLDs, layouts, BOMs, and specs.
• Collaborate with HQ R&D, product engineering, and regional teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with Delta portfolios.
• Support sales workshops, design reviews, and proposal presentations; provide bid evaluation support.
