Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician to join the Operations & Maintenance team in a North Carolina data center. Working under the Sr Facility Manager, you will perform 24/7/365 maintenance to preserve the reliability of critical loads and support building systems, coordinating with vendors as needed.

Ideal candidates have Journeyman-level electrical/mechanical/HVAC/R skills, 7–10 years in data centers, CMMS familiarity, and knowledge of Visio/AutoCAD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Journeyman level electrical, mechanical, HVAC/R skills with suitable certification or training.
• 7–10 years experience in data centers or equivalent operations roles.
• Proficient in CMMS; strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Visio and AutoCAD is a plus; willingness to learn new product skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate data center systems in a 24/7/365 environment.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance and projects.
• Respond to alarms, preserve critical load, and participate in root-cause analysis.
• Utilize CMMS to track maintenance, labor hours, and work orders; follow SOPs.
