Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking a skilled facilities technician to join our 24/7/365 Operations & Maintenance team in Chandler, AZ. The role supports data center operations, ensures reliability of critical loads, and collaborates with the Sr. Facility Manager to maintain building systems.

Responsibilities include using CMMS for work orders, coordinating with contractors, and responding to alarms with a focus on minimizing risk and downtime.

Qualifications

• Journeyman level skills in electrical, mechanical, HVAC/R disciplines
• 7 to 10 years working in Tier 2/3/4 Data Centers or related operations & maintenance
• Familiarity with Work Order Control procedures and CMMS
• Experience with subcontractor and vendor contract management
• Experience with KPI management and capacity planning
• Able to use hand tools, test equipment, and maintenance shop practices at Journeyman level
• Ability to respond to equipment alarms and troubleshoot via GUI
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, Visio and AutoCad a plus

Responsibilities

• Responsible to the Sr. Facility Manager for completing tasks in the Data Center Operations & Maintenance program and any non-DC spaces
• Know and follow Owner’s building operations rules as provided by the DC Manager
• Use CMMS to track maintenance work, labor hours, PMs and tickets
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance and project work
• Respond to building system alarms prioritizing critical load preservation
• Implement equipment changes and LOTO protocols to protect workers and critical load
• Maintain high standards of workmanship
• Comply with company, government and client policies and regulations
• Be available for 24/7/365 work and emergency maintenance
• Comply with EHS requirements
