Job summary

CyrusOne is hiring for a 24/7 Data Center Operations & Maintenance role in Ashburn, VA. You will work under the Sr Facility Manager in a high-availability environment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance on critical electrical and mechanical systems.

The position requires a strong technical background and the ability to coordinate with vendors for safe project execution. The candidate should have 5–7 years in Tier 2–4 data centers, excellent problem solving, and solid communication

Qualifications

• Journeyman level skills in electrical, mechanical, HVAC/R.
• 5–7 years in Tier 2–4 Data Center operations/maintenance.
• Strong customer service orientation and proactive mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to collaborate.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel and basic project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support 24/7/365 Data Center operations to preserve critical load.
• Follow building operations rules and CMMS workflow for work orders.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for safe task execution.
• Respond to alarms with priority to preserve reliability and enable RCAs.
• Assist with root cause analysis and preventative maintenance planning.
