Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking a Data Center Operations Manager to ensure optimal performance of data center environments, systems and personnel with daily oversight of administrative and maintenance functions in the Dallas area.

The role requires 5+ years in high-availability facilities, a relevant Bachelor’s degree, and preferred certifications such as CPE/CPMM. You will manage building automation, security, and service delivery, coordinating with operations and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical experience in a high-availability data center or similar environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering or Facilities Management (or related field) or equivalent work experience.
• Certifications such as CPE or CPMM preferred.
• Experience with building automation, monitoring and control systems.
• Strong leadership, communication and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of cooling and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot critical infrastructure issues using test equipment and controls.
• Develop and implement maintenance activities for critical infrastructure and facilities.
• Coordinate with Operations and Security to address environmental and access issues.
• Report on SLA activities and maintain capacity and performance dashboards.
• Oversee subcontractor agreements and manage facility services.
• Maintain environmental monitoring and asset tracking processes.
• Support customer implementations and service delivery procedures.
• Oversee training and development for the service delivery team; participate in 24x7 coverage.
