Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC is seeking a senior facilities operations leader to oversee critical infrastructure across data centers in the Northern Kentucky region. You will supervise electrical, mechanical, and control systems, drive safety and compliance programs, and mentor cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include reviewing change requests, coordinating maintenance, and guiding RCA investigations. A strong background in on-site operations, risk management, and technical training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering, Operations Management, or related discipline).
• Equivalent industry experience (10+ years in data center operations) may substitute for formal education.
• 5+ years in data center operations or critical facilities management, including multi-site responsibility.
• Experience developing and executing onboarding or technical programs within infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical oversight for critical facility systems including electrical distribution, UPS, generators, HVAC, chilled water, fire/life safety, and BMS platforms.
• Review and validate Change Requests prior to Facility Manager approval to ensure procedural accuracy, risk mitigation and safety compliance.
• Ensure all work on site adheres to approved SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, and change management procedures.
• Conduct quality reviews of completed procedures and ensure proper documentation storage and record retention.
• Lead RCA investigations and coordinate maintenance activities, vendor work and ongoing projects.
• Maintain operational continuity between shifts by coordinating maintenance, vendor work and projects.
• Coordinate site drills and training per annual plans; foster ownership and continuous improvement cultures.
