Job summary

IDR is seeking a Lead Data Center Technician to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Conesville, OH. This role offers a chance to lead critical infrastructure operations within a mission-critical facility, emphasizing safety, operational excellence, and technical expertise.

The successful candidate will provide senior technical leadership, oversee electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety, and building management systems, and act as the site’s primary technical authority across

Qualifications

5+ years in data center operations or critical facilities management.
Proven leadership, risk management, and training delivery.
Experience developing onboarding or technical programs within infrastructure environments.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems including BMS.

Responsibilities

Provide senior technical leadership and operational oversight within a mission-critical facility.
Ensure procedural integrity, technical excellence, risk mitigation, and operational continuity across electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety, and BMS.
Serve as the primary technical authority on site, bridging shift-based operations and site-level leadership.
Focus on change management, vendor execution, compliance, training development, and project coordination.
Demonstrate deep infrastructure expertise and leadership in high-availability environments.
