Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking a skilled facilities technician to support 24/7/365 data center operations under the Sr Facility Manager. You will perform maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, respond to alarms, and coordinate with contractors to ensure reliability of critical load.

This role requires hands-on journeyman experience, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and strong PC skills. Onsite work with adjustable hours during emergencies, with training in CMMS and adherence to

Qualifications

• Journeyman level skills in electrical, mechanical, HVAC/R disciplines.
• Associate degree or technical training in electrical/HVAC/R or related field.
• Experience in data center operations or facility maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sr Facility Manager to complete tasks in the Data Center O&M program.
• Use CMMS to track maintenance work, labor hours, and work orders.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance and projects.
• Respond to building system alarms and preserve critical load.
• Follow SOPs/MOPS/EOPs and safe work practices.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and comply with policies.
