Job summary

Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Supervisor to join our operations & maintenance team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role prioritizes client needs and ensures on-time completion of all work, with emphasis on safety, training, and cross-training.

The supervisor will handle SME level responses to work orders, troubleshoot facilities systems including mechanical, HVAC, pumps, and plumbing, and manage data center infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 6 years’ experience performing mechanical maintenance in a data center or heavy industrial environment.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of experience with master's degree.
• Experience in a supervisory or subcontract management capacity within a technical industrial or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage data center building systems and related equipment.
• Lead safety program and ensure compliance with safety actions.
• Respond to work orders, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Review and approve time reporting and compile reports for management.
• Mentor technicians and provide training.
