Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. is seeking a experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor for our Center in Indiana.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repair facilities, grounds, and systems to keep operations fully functional, and supervise staff in the absence of the Facility Manager. You will provide supervision and training to Work-Based Learning students, ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and coordinate with contractors as needed to maintain quality and service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited school (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of building maintenance experience (required).
• Previous lead or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Valid in-state driver's license and insurability (required).
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of Center facilities, grounds, and systems.
• Apply knowledge of local building codes, carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, boilers, and other building systems to keep the Center fully operational.
• Supervise maintenance staff in the absence of the Facility Manager/Supervisor.
• Provide supervision and training to Work-Based Learning students assigned to the department, as applicable.
