Job summary

Vantage Data Centers Management Company LLC is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer onsite in Port Washington, WI. You will design, deploy, and support fault-tolerant IT infrastructure across North America data centers in partnership with Construction, Operations, and Engineering teams.

The role requires 7+ years in data center IT, strong Windows/Linux, VMware, networking (Cisco/Fortinet/Arista), and SDN expertise with ITIL-aligned processes. On-call rotations and travel <20% may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
• Minimum of seven years of progressive experience deploying and supporting IT infrastructure in data centers or similar environments.
• Proficient across Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft 365, Cisco, Fortinet, Arista networking and firewalls, SDN, storage and backup technologies, LAN/WAN.
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change).
• Experience deploying IT services to new construction sites with coordination with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as domain expert for Mission Critical Operations on data center projects.
• Design and maintain fault-tolerant IT networks with Cisco/Fortinet/Arista platforms (SDN leaf-spine).
• Architect and harden virtualization platforms and Windows/Linux servers.
• Coordinate with project managers and contractors to meet schedules and budgets.
• Manage multiple projects, balance priorities, ensure quality and compliance.
• Provide after-hours support and participate in on-call rotations.
