Job summary

CoreWeave’s MetalDev Operations team seeks a Senior Operations Engineer. You’ll own reliability, observability, and operational excellence for data-center-grade hardware and software platforms, including GPU servers and cooling infrastructure.

You’ll develop expertise in Redfish-based services, partner with hardware and firmware teams, and drive automation to reduce toil while maintaining production stability and scalable operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud operations, SRE, or infra operations.
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and internals.
• Experience with incident management, escalation, and post-incident reviews.
• Experience monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage and troubleshoot team-owned services in production.
• Monitor fleet health and coordinate remediation for unhealthy devices.
• Own monitoring dashboards, alerts, and KPIs; drive reliability improvements.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, escalation procedures, and incident communications.
• Collaborate with hardware, fleet ops, and engineering teams to resolve complex issues.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident post-mortems.
• Document incident findings and improve operational processes.
