CoreWeave is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for its Compute Architecture team in Sunnyvale to build Go-based services powering large-scale GPU data centers. You will drive reliability, automation, and scalable infrastructure across fleets, with leadership in design and mentoring.

The role emphasizes distributed systems, cloud-native Kubernetes, and incident-driven improvements, leveraging Prometheus, Grafana, and CI/CD in a production environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in software engineering with focus on infrastructure and distributed databases.
• Expertise in Go and building REST/gRPC APIs for mission-critical platforms.
• Strong background in architecting cloud-native Kubernetes infrastructure and distributed services.
• Proven success mentoring engineers and leading technical projects across teams.
• Open source collaboration experience.
• Data-driven reliability mindset and strong communication skills.
• Hands-on with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, PromQL), CI/CD, and large GPU fleets.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate Go-based services for large-scale GPU data center infrastructure.
• Develop automation for bring-up, hardware discovery, health monitoring, and production operations.
• Create reliable APIs, services, and workflows for BMCs, firmware state, and server health.
• Improve observability, alerts, and tools to detect and resolve production issues quickly.
• Translate incidents into software improvements to increase platform resilience.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and software teams for fleet-scale safety.
• Provide technical leadership via design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship.
• Make pragmatic architecture decisions balancing reliability, simplicity, scalability, and operational burden.
