Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Fire Protection Engineer to support its rapidly growing Data Center practice across multiple projects and programs. You will collaborate with clients, AHJs, and internal teams to develop fire protection designs that meet stringent reliability and code requirements.

You will oversee design concepts for water-based systems, pumps, pre-action and clean agent systems, and perform hydraulic calculations while coordinating with civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to deliver

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fire protection engineering experience.
• PE license.
• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Fire Protection Engineer for Data Center and Mission Critical projects.
• Provide fire protection system design, code analysis, and life safety engineering.
• Establish project fire protection design criteria and technical standards.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and interface with AHJs.
