Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Senior Data Center Fiber Deployment Lead to guide data center construction projects delivered by colocation providers. You will manage schedules, budgets, and quality while coordinating design, commissioning, and vendor activities.

You will serve as the main Oracle contact with external providers, ensuring contract compliance and successful installation of power, cooling, networking, and cabling systems on-site in Abilene, TX. Relocation packages are available.

Qualifications

• 11 years of experience in construction project management in lieu of a degree or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering or a related field, and 7 years of experience in construction project management.
• Master's degree in construction management engineering or related field, and 3 years of experience in construction project management and Doctorate in Construction Management, Engineering or related field AND 2 years of experience with budgets/financials.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center construction by colocation providers to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets for multiple projects.
• Oversee documentation: design reviews, commissioning plans, problem-solving papers.
• Coordinate with design and tenant fit-out teams across design, construction and commissioning phases.
• Conduct site walks, lead startup and commissioning to ensure systems are operational and meet specs.
