Job summary

Oracle is seeking an experienced senior leader to guide data center construction projects managed by colocation providers. You will set strategic objectives, supervise project managers, and ensure delivery within time, budget, and quality standards.

You will also oversee documentation, risk management, and coordination with external vendors across multiple sites. The role emphasizes high-level leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring compliance with design plans and industry

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction of data centers by colocation providers, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget and quality parameters.
• Lead project managers with strategic goals aligned to organizational objectives.
• Direct documentation creation and maintenance, including design review and commissioning papers.
• Direct quality control processes to ensure compliance with design specs and industry standards.
• Lead site walks and oversee startup/commissioning phases of major data center projects.
• Manage risk identification and mitigation, and communicate impacts to executives.
• Serve as primary contact between the company and colocation providers; negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors.
