Job summary

Meta seeks an experienced Energy Manager, Power Delivery to support cost-effective energy solutions for its data centers. You will lead energy infrastructure strategy, coordinate interconnection agreements, and manage complex negotiations with utilities and partners.

You will work with Energy Managers to drive milestones across site selection, construction, and operations, while optimizing capacity and ensuring compliance across projects. The role includes domestic travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a directly related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of relevant energy project experience with utility, developer, design/consulting, construction, or energy-intensive sectors.
• Knowledge of transmission, distribution, and interconnection processes and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience managing complex, large-scale projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience communicating status, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders and building partnerships with suppliers.
• Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint (and/or Keynote) skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation and execution of energy infrastructure strategies for Meta’s data centers
• Establish and communicate energy requirements to internal and external stakeholders
• Lead negotiations for energy infrastructure agreements aligned with Meta's needs and policies
• Manage project due diligence, site development, construction, and commercial agreements
• Lead communication between utility partners, internal stakeholders, and consultants
• Negotiate deal terms to maximize capacity planning and options
• Deliver new commercial agreements enabling capacity and fungible options
• Build and maintain relationships with internal partners across sites
• Identify and drive process improvements to save time and cost
• Lead and manage ad-hoc energy initiatives
• Identify and resolve evolving requirements in data center development; escalate risks
• Travel domestically up to 25%
