Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Energy Manager to support the development of cost-effective energy solutions for its data centers in Minnesota. This role involves shaping energy infrastructure strategies, negotiating interconnection and energy supply agreements, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to drive project delivery.

Candidate will manage multiple complex projects, travel up to 25%, and communicate status and risks to leadership while continuously improving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in energy/utility development, design/consulting, or energy-intensive sectors.
• Experience with transmission, distribution and interconnection processes.

Responsibilities

• Support development of overarching energy infrastructure strategies for Meta's data centers.
• Lead negotiations for energy infrastructure agreements and present recommendations to leadership.
• Manage due diligence, site development, construction, and commercial agreements.
• Coordinate with utility partners and internal stakeholders to deliver projects and optimize timelines.
