Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Energy Manager, Power Delivery to support the development of cost-effective energy solutions for our data centers. You will help shape interconnection and energy supply arrangements across site selection, construction and operations, working with Energy Managers and partners to optimize reliability and long-term capacity.

This role requires strong project management, negotiation skills, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of relevant energy/utility project experience
• Knowledge of transmission, distribution and interconnection
• Experience leading complex, large-scale projects
• Strong project management across multiple projects
• Experience communicating status, risks, and recommendations
• Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint/Keynote skills

Responsibilities

• Support the creation and execution of energy infrastructure strategies for Meta's data centers
• Establish energy requirements with stakeholders
• Lead negotiations for energy infrastructure agreements
• Manage due diligence, site development, construction, and commercial agreements
• Coordinate between utility partners, internal stakeholders, and consultants
• Negotiate terms to maximize capacity and options
• Deliver new commercial agreements for capacity and flexible delivery
• Build relationships with site selection, engineering, design, construction, operations, legal and finance
• Identify process improvements to cut time and cost
• Lead ad-hoc energy initiatives for Meta
• Identify evolving requirements and escalate risks to keep projects on track
• Travel domestically up to 25%
