Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Strategic Negotiator to lead complex energy supply formation and commercial structuring, including specialized behind-the-meter deals, PPA arrangements, and utility contracts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and energy stakeholders to craft cost-effective agreements that support Google's global infrastructure growth.

In this role, you will identify new sites, perform market and financial analyses, and present recommendations to energy and infrastructure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in energy project development, utility procurement, or finance/consulting.
6 years of experience developing or structuring power purchase agreements for Microgrids, Behind-the-Meter (BTM) power, gas turbines, BESS, fuel cell or geothermal energy.

Responsibilities

Lead highly complex energy supply formation and commercial structuring, including first of kind behind-the-meter energy deals.
Drive cross-functional workstreams including market trend analysis, economic modeling, risk assessment, and leadership alignment.
Identify new energy-ready sites and strengthen relationships with energy partners such as IPPs, utilities, and co-ops.
Contribute to Google’s data center portfolio through energy due diligence during site selection and project development.
