Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Energy Manager to support the development of cost-effective energy solutions for our data centers. You will lead energy infrastructure strategies, interconnection efforts, and negotiations with utility partners, driving milestones from site selection through operations.

Ideal candidates have a deep background in energy project development, strong stakeholder management, and proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a directly related field or equivalent practical experience.
12+ years of relevant work experience with utility, energy project developer, design/consulting firm, construction firm or energy-intensive company.
Strong knowledge of transmission, distribution and interconnection processes.
Experience managing complex, large-scale energy projects.
Demonstrated project management with multiple concurrent projects.
Experience communicating status, risks and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and/or Keynote.

Responsibilities

Support the creation and execution of energy infrastructure strategies for Meta’s data centers.
Identify and communicate energy requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
Lead negotiations for energy infrastructure agreements and present to leadership.
Manage due diligence, site development, construction, contracts, and operations for energy matters.
Coordinate with utility partners, internal teams, and consultants with autonomy.
Analyze scenarios to optimize capacity and align with business plans.
