Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Public Policy Manager to support policy strategies affecting data center infrastructure, energy goals, and site selection. You will partner with regional policy teams and business units to drive strategic engagement and policy implementation.

Minimum qualifications include a public policy or energy-related degree and 5+ years in energy policy, with strong cross-functional collaboration and policy tracking abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in public policy, energy related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in energy policy.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and deadlines.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to work with large cross-functional groups including technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional policy initiatives on data center infrastructure, energy, and economic development.
  • Track energy and data center legislation across US states and federal level.
  • Coordinate with internal partners, trade associations, and external consultants to assess policy impacts.
  • Support policy engagement strategies informed by business needs and public opinion.
  • Align internal teams and external partners including trade associations.
  • Prepare summaries and memos on policy issues to drive internal alignment.
  • Support related policy issues such as tax and trade as needed.
