Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Energy Manager, Clean Energy to identify, develop, negotiate, and manage clean and renewable energy supply solutions for Meta’s data centers worldwide. The role blends project development, finance, regulatory, and commercial activities to advance Meta’s energy strategy.

You will lead negotiations for cost-competitive energy, collaborate with internal teams, and influence utility offerings while travel is required 10–20% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; energy experience preferred.
• Proven track record negotiating utility-scale clean energy solutions.
• Experience with financial models for renewable energy projects and due diligence.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders across internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, negotiate, and execute opportunities for clean and renewable energy sources for Meta’s data centers.
• Support data center site selection and development activities domestically and internationally.
• Collaborate with sustainability, legal, tax, engineering, and finance to implement supply solutions.
• Develop commercial frameworks for grid decarbonization projects, including nuclear, geothermal, and energy storage.
