Meta’s Global Energy Team seeks an experienced Energy Manager, Clean Energy to identify and develop cost-competitive clean and renewable energy solutions for Meta’s data centers. You will lead negotiation, due diligence, and execution across a global supply portfolio while collaborating with sustainability, legal, tax, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience developing, acquiring, due diligence, and negotiating utility-scale clean and renewable energy solutions
• Proven track record negotiating energy supply agreements
• Experience presenting to executive leadership teams of suppliers, utilities, and stakeholders
• Experience working with financial models for renewable energy projects and risk analysis
• Experience managing multiple projects with internal/external stakeholders and consultants
• Experience in utility and grid interconnection processes
• Experience communicating commercial, regulatory, market and contractual details to all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, development, negotiation, and execution of clean energy opportunities for Meta’s operations
• Support domestic and international data center site selection and development activities
• Collaborate with sustainability, legal, tax, engineering, and finance to implement supply solutions
• Develop and negotiate commercial frameworks for grid decarbonization projects
• Develop relationships with suppliers, developers, regulators, and stakeholders
• Lead regulatory processes and influence design of energy supply solutions
• Advance Meta’s clean energy strategy for domestic and international data centers
• Monitor technical, market, and regulatory developments and communicate trends and risks
• Lead and support energy projects, including technology assessment
• Travel 10–20% domestically and internationally
