Job summary

CBRE in Dallas seeks a Technical Sr. Manager to lead a team responsible for all mechanical operations, maintenance, energy management, and workforce development for facilities and portfolios.

You will supervise staff, manage operating and capital budgets, coordinate daily activities, and ensure building systems—fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical—are reliable while maintaining strong communications with tenants, owners, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, training, coaching, mentoring, measuring performance.
• Ability to convey performance expectations and handle problems.
• Leadership to motivate a multi-discipline team to meet targets.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees, conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate daily activities, establish work schedules, cross-train staff.
• Manage operations and maintenance for facilities; develop operating and capital budgets.
• Recommend improvements for preventive maintenance and maintain manuals.
• Point of contact for maintenance with outside contractors and vendors.
• Oversee fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems.
• Maintain communication with tenants, clients, owners and staff.
• Drive acquisition of new management contracts.
• Respond to emergencies and customer concerns.
• Apply knowledge to align with CBRE policies and objectives.
• Lead by example to promote CBRE RISE values.
