Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and manage all EHS programs across our data centers. You will implement proactive safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of safety and awareness throughout the organization.

The role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams, leading audits, and driving continuous improvement in EHS performance. This on-site position is based in New Albany, OH, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an EHS technical or related field is required.
• Eight or more years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in mission-critical environments.
• Certifications from Board of Certified Safety Professionals or equivalent, or ability to obtain within two years.
• Solid experience in designing and implementing systems to manage EHS operational risks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure safety and well‑being of all staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across all EHS programs.
• Conduct and review audits of EHS programs and recommend improvements.
• Maintain environmental permits and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Investigate and analyze incidents and recommend preventive measures.
• Lead site EHS champions in implementing programs and drive safety culture.
• Oversee preparation and submission of regulatory documents and set corporate EHS goals.
• Establish a performance dashboard highlighting key EHS indicators.
