Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead all EHS programs across its data centers. You will drive policy development, audits, incident investigations, and regulatory reporting to ensure a safe, compliant operation.

The role requires 8+ years in EHS, BCSP or equivalent certification, and the ability to travel 25–50%. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to strengthen safety culture and sustainability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS technical, business-related field or equivalent experience.
• Eight+ years in an EHS role, preferably in mission-critical environments.
• BCSP or equivalent certification, or ability to obtain within two years.
• Experience designing and implementing systems to manage EHS risks.
• Ability to travel 25–50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies, guidelines, and procedures for data center employees.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across all EHS programs.
• Conduct audits and propose program improvements.
• Maintain environmental permits and regulatory reporting.
• Investigate incidents and recommend preventive measures.
• Identify EHS risks and develop mitigation programs.
• Assess training needs and deliver workforce training.
• Lead site EHS champions and program rollout.
• Oversee regulatory document preparation and EHS goal tracking.
• Establish a dashboard for EHS metrics and drive awareness.
