Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Orangeburg, NY is seeking an experienced Senior Critical Infrastructure Engineer to support a dedicated client account. You will lead technical execution of critical facilities operations, construction and renovation projects, and data center infrastructure management, serving as the primary liaison among the client, facility professionals, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of progressive project engineering experience in commercial real estate or corporate facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong project management and organizational skills; manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of critical facilities services for the assigned portfolio per policies and contract scope.
• Conduct field work including onsite electrical equipment assessments and supervision of maintenance activities.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets from initiation through closeout.
• Validate device installations and changes in the DCIM platform; maintain asset tracking.
• Review design documents for accuracy and constructability; ensure codes and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and property management; conduct regular site inspections.
• Manage Building Management Systems (BMS) and monitor power and cooling metrics in data centers.
• Prepare reports including maintenance schedules, project status, and as-builts for decision-making.
• Maintain relationships with landlords, property management, and third-party service providers.
