Job summary

Midea America Corp. is expanding its data center cooling leadership in North America and seeks a senior solutions professional to support hyperscale and AI deployments. You will translate complex customer requirements into scalable cooling architectures and competitive proposals.

As a key interface among customers, sales, product, R&D, and delivery teams, you will guide technical discovery, create reference architectures, and ensure successful project execution from pre-sales to handoff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Refrigeration, Energy and Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred in data center cooling, HVAC, central chilled-water systems, liquid cooling, or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of data center cooling architecture including air cooling, chilled-water, liquid cooling, and hybrid strategies.
• Experience with CDU, rack-level cooling, and high-density AI deployments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior pre-sales technical partner for strategic data center customers and coordinate with Key Account Managers.
• Lead technical discovery and translate requirements into system architecture, product selection, and proposals.
• Provide expertise across chillers, liquid cooling, CDUs, fan walls, and precision cooling.
• Advise on data center cooling architecture, power density, redundancy, energy efficiency, and AI deployments.
• Lead or participate in presentations, RFQ/RFP responses, and solution workshops.
• Collaborate with hyperscalers, EPCs, and customer teams to support project development and alignment.
• Coordinate with global product and R&D to reflect market needs and competitive intelligence.
• Develop reference architectures and best practices to grow data center business.
