Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer to lead BMS and EPMS projects within AWS data centers.

You will train users, support operations through the life cycle, and drive project scope, schedules, and budgets while coordinating with stakeholders worldwide. Responsibilities include system design, commissioning, and ongoing optimization of controls sequences and GUIs, with frequent travel to data center sites.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management work related to construction and project execution

Responsibilities

• Train and assist internal customers and stakeholders with BMS/EPMS systems
• Provide technical assistance during data center life cycle operations
• Develop project scope, schedule, budget and LOE for BMS/EPMS projects
• Manage scope, schedule, finance and execution of BMS/EPMS improvement projects
• Assist in procurement activities including RFPs and purchase orders
• Participate in AWS global on-call schedule for BMS/EPMS support
• Support commissioning activities for controls projects
• Review and iterate on SOO and control logic programming
• Develop and modify controls logic programming and GUIs
• Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables and navigate complex situations
• Financially manage BMS and EPMS service contracts
• Travel 50-75% to data centers across US, Canada, and LATAM
• Must have valid passport and visa capabilities
