Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Project Superintendent to plan, coordinate and supervise field operations on complex projects. The role ensures profitability, safety, schedule adherence and quality, while leading teams and coordinating with the Project Manager to implement the project management plan.

The position emphasizes hands-on leadership, adherence to Sundt safety standards, and collaboration with owners and subcontractors to deliver successful project outcomes on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Four‑year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience required.
• Must have construction project and supervision experience in similar types of facilities.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, and methods), negotiations, engineering, cost control, scheduling, and safety.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manages field operations. Is responsible for project success, including profitability, safety, schedule, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborates with the Project Manager to develop the project management plan (PMP) including the project scope management plan, procurement plan, environmental plan, time management plan, financial plan, quality management and safety plans and risk management plan to ensure successful project execution.
