Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Superintendent to lead field operations on a high-profile data center project in Sterling, VA. You will partner with the Project Manager to manage schedule, budget, and staff, while maintaining safety standards and quality across all trades.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Project Superintendent experience required.
• Commercial construction experience with a GC is required.
• Experience leading, developing, and mentoring a team.
• Experience in lived-in product type construction is desired.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary leader of subcontractors and field forces on the job site.
• Maintain project safety in accordance with the companys Safety Policy.
• Develop and update the project schedule, resource allocation, and work processes.
• Prepare two-week look ahead schedules.
• Oversee daily construction activities ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and manage their performance and safety compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections and address quality issues.
