Job summary

Adecco Portugal seeks a Vice President of Construction with a focus on Data Centers to lead operations in Atlanta, GA. The role requires senior leadership and experience in data-center or mission-critical commercial construction, with relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include directing data center projects, managing the PM/field teams, and driving profitability and scalable processes to support rapid growth in this market.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in commercial construction, preferably data center/mission-critical.
• Experience managing large-scale, schedule-sensitive projects with significant budgets.
• Strong understanding of project financials, estimating, scheduling, and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee data center construction operations, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
• Direct project management, field operations, estimating, scheduling, resource planning, and cost controls across multiple projects.
• Manage project financial performance, profitability, labor utilization, and KPIs.
• Build and develop high-performing project management and field leadership teams for data center growth.
• Establish standardized processes and scalable operating practices to support higher project volume.
• Develop and maintain relationships with data center clients, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and partners.
• Identify operational improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Support business expansion, new-market development, and acquisition integration.
