Job summary

Colliers Project Leaders is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Owner's Rep team supporting datacenter construction projects across Ashburn, VA; Portland, OR; Atlanta, GA; and Miami, FL. You will plan, coordinate, and direct activities, acting as a liaison for design managers, clients, consultants, and vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

We value candidates with architecture, engineering, or construction backgrounds, 6+ years PM experience, and 3+ years in data

Qualifications

• 6+ years of project management experience.
• 3+ years of data center construction experience.
• General Contracting, Construction Management, Equipment Vendor or Architecture Experience preferred.
• Extensive familiarity and working knowledge of construction scheduling, project budgeting and cost controls.
• Working technical knowledge of MEP systems and how data centers operate.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large scale construction projects that range from site development, ground up construction, data center buildouts and customer fit-outs.
• Knowledgeable in base building and tenant MEP systems and managing the design and implementation of these systems.
• Establish and maintain strong relationship with our general contractors, key subcontractors, equipment vendors and other consultants.
• Review all budgeting and scheduling deliverables for content and quality, drawing quality and adherence to internal budget and schedule goals.
• Participate and lead budget and schedule meeting reviews with construction team personnel.
• Discuss discipline and project objectives, requirements and budgets with clientele, design staff, and senior leadership.
• Create and maintain project budgets and schedules for multiple sites in various stages of design/construction.
