Job summary

Seneca Resources in Abilene, TX is seeking a Data Center Senior Construction Manager to lead large-scale, complex data center builds onsite, from planning through commissioning and closeout. You will oversee safety, schedule adherence, and compliance with industry standards, while directing dispersed field teams of 100+ technicians and coordinating with union crews.

Strong fiber optics and low voltage expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of supervisory experience in large-scale structured cabling or data center construction
• Experience managing dispersed field teams of 100+ technicians
• Data center new build or retrofit project experience preferred
• Experience working with union telecom crews and ensuring labor compliance
• Certifications such as OSHA30 (or willingness to obtain) and BICSI TECH/RCDD preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of large-scale data center construction projects from planning to closeout
• Oversee safety, schedule adherence, and regulatory compliance
• Direct dispersed field teams of 100+ technicians onsite
• Coordinate with union labor crews and ensure labor compliance
• Ensure quality and timely project delivery in mission-critical environments
