Job summary

Mackinnon Bruce International is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager for data center developments. You will oversee all phases from due diligence to handover, coordinating with design professionals, contractors, and operations teams to ensure timely, compliant execution.

Requirements include a civil/mechanical engineering degree and 8+ years in construction and real estate, with data center experience preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field is strongly preferred.
Eight+ years in construction and real estate development, with four+ years in data center projects.
Experience building substations, switching centers, and high‑voltage data center infrastructure.
Public speaking proficiency required; Spanish bilingual is a plus.
Experience negotiating contracts, change orders, and related documents.
Understanding of building and construction concepts; valid driver’s license.
Proficiency with MS Project, Bluebeam, and Yardi.

Responsibilities

Lead initial due diligence for government approvals across each project phase.
Manage data center construction from site selection through handover to operations.
Create a written program and schedule for all phases and provide weekly activity reports.
Engage and issue contracts to design professionals, consultants, coordinators, and contractors using approved forms.
