Zusammenfassung

AECOM seeks a Lead Architect to drive design and delivery of colocation and hyperscale data center facilities. You will lead complex, mission-critical projects from concept to commissioning, shaping high-performance, secure, scalable environments for top cloud and colocation clients.

This role offers remote work with occasional travel to client meetings and milestones, and requires an active architectural license in the U.S.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Demonstrated experience with colocation and hyperscale data center projects.
• Experience with building codes, mission critical standards, and data center design.
• Experience in BIM ACC (Revit), AutoCAD and related tools.

Aufgaben

• Lead architectural design for large-scale hyperscale cloud data center and colocation projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to create coordinated design solutions.
• Develop drawings, specifications, and documentation per codes and client guidelines.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and permitting authorities.
• Serve as architectural SME for hyperscale clients, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Mentor junior architects and designers for technical excellence.
• Stay updated on data center design trends and best practices.
• Support proposals and conceptual designs for new pursuits.
